Many uses of polyester fiber filling

Polyester filled pillows are very soft and comfortable because of the lightweight and uniformly spread poly fill, which is used in these pillows. This polyfil stuffing is available online and can be delivered home at reasonable prices and in desired quantities. Bulk poly fill can be purchased reasonably cheap with great volume discounts available on most online sites.

Polyester fiber stuffing, which is conventionally used for pillow filling, is used for a variety of purposes because of its lightweight and uniform quality. Poly fill can be used as soft toy stuffing and also can be used to make Christmas decorations as well as for summer projects. In fact, a lot of great ideas like animal face pillows, hanging planets and stars made out of poly fill can be made using polyester stuffing in these shapes.

Various cute toys and teddies for the young and old alike can be made using polyester filling. Some summer projects using poly fill stuffing also use the stuffing to create the effect of snow or depict waves in a landscape used for display. The use of poly fill in these projects is entirely based on the imagination of the user and there are no limits to what can be created using the same.

I think it is definitely time you worked up your brain imaginatively to let your summer project ideas using polyester fiberfill come to life.  Bring them to life and you will find many who will appreciate your imagination.

. As you can see, the warehouse is located at an easy to get to location, just off the highway by the Yorkdale/Dufferin exit. If you are traveling by car you will find it quite easy to find the warehouse since it is so close to the major artery of Toronto's traffic system - the 401.

I would not recommend walking

Pillow form, quillt batts, polyester stuffing shipping rates

The most frequent question we are asked is: how much shipping does it cost to my location? For those that are technically inclined, we developed an intuitive instant quote system that calculates shipping to any location in Canada. It can be viewed at: http://www.nussopillows.com/order.htm?format=quote
This is what the online quote form looks like:
If you fill in your postal code in the blue box (either the big one at the top or the small one in the middle on the right) the program will now calculate the shipping cost to your specific postal code. Now, when you enter the quantities you want in any of the other boxes, the shipping cost will update automatically in the big blue box entitled "Your Order Summary". It will calculate the precise costs as well as the number of boxes it will take to ship your order to you. Roughly speaking, 25 pounds of merchandise will fit into a box. That means approximately 25 18" x 18" or 20 20" x 20" forms.

For a basic guideline, here's a quick rundown of what costs you can expect to major metropolitan areas for quantities of two boxes or more:

Toronto: $10.58/box
Montreal: $11.95/box
Winnipeg: $13.58/box
Calgary/Edmonton: $16.70/box
Vancouver: $18.98/box

Single carton shipments are slightly higher

Keep in mind, that if FedEx is delivering to a residential address, they will charge an additional $2.50/box surcharge. Also, the rates above are a guideline and should be used as a rough estimate only. For an accurate quote, please use the online quote form: http://www.nussopillows.com/order.htm?format=quote

We ship all of our goods with FedEx ground, due their exceptional customer service and super fast delivery time. FedEx has been a reliable, steady supplier for us for many many years (over 30 I think dating back to the RPS days). Customers love the emails that FedEx sends out for the tracking number for each package, which allows our clients to conveniently track their orders as soon as they leave the warehouse. Additionally, FedEx offers us very competitive rates due to our long-standing relationship with them. It is part of our corporate philosophy to maintain and build strong mutually beneficial business relationships that assist us in all steps along the value creation chain.

(21:37:30)  Visitor i think it was the 10 x 30 bolsters that i ordered before.please confirn

(21:37:59)  Customer Service yes, the 10" x 30" is correct
(21:38:08)  Customer Service you ordered 10 pieces
(21:38:30)  Visitor what is the price each and is there a discount for over 6
(21:39:21)  Customer Service price is $10.75 as per the website and your previous invoice
(21:39:44)  Customer Service our qty discounts are for orders in the $500 range
(21:39:51)  Visitor can they be filled with more stuffing to make them denser
(21:39:59)  Customer Service yes
(21:40:10)  Visitor what is the cost
(21:40:14)  Customer Service if you visit the factory, we can fill to your spec
(21:41:44)  Visitor i haven't visited the factory but if i could get what you fill and then 1/2 more on top. does that make sense. customers are finding them too soft
(21:42:41)  Customer Service we can definitely do that.... the $10.75 is based on a fill weight of 3.4 lbs, so increasing fill weight by 50% would increase the costs by approximately 50%
(21:43:14)  Visitor price please
(21:43:29)  Customer Service each additional pound = $2.60
(21:43:54)  Customer Service so an extra 1.7 lbs would be 15.17

Build-A-Bear Recalls 300,000 Teddy Bears

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/45806891/ns/health-childrens_health/#.TwHGW4FIU1U

The article mentions that the teddy bears had an issue with the eye balls falling out, presenting a rather serious choking hazard to babies. I suppose they learned nothing from the BPA incident... It always annoys me when I read about companies that are so focused on short-term cost-cutting measures that they ignore the far more important long-term implications of inferior product quality. Although harder to measure, cost of quality is extremely important and companies need to balance the benefits of reducing costs against the new costs generated by cutting quality (cost of returns, defects, customer service, recalls, lost sales, lost brand value, etc.)

It should be noted that here at Nusso, we supply many teddy bear manufacturers with our polyester stuffing and sincerely hope that our stuffing is only going into teddy bears that are baby-safe.

Dog Beds Vs. Floor Pillows

The fundamental difference between a dog bed and a floor cushion is the fill weight. When we manufacture our dog beds, they are generally filled like a "bladder" with far less fill than the floor cushions. Dogs are not as heavy as humans, which means you don't need as much fill.

Polyester is synthetic and is safe for both humans and dogs alike. Unlike feathers and down fill, dogs will not smell any other animal on the fill. Dogs go crazy when they smell down/feather filled pillow forms, so a polyester fill is always recommended around pets.

If you have a dog that tears fabric open, then you need to be handy with a sewing machine. Buy some cheap fabric and some loose stuffing from your local fabric store. You won't need more than 2 to 3 pounds for each dog bed pillow. Simply sew the edges together and hand stuff the polyfill inside and presto! you have a dog bed for your doggie.

Halloween Crafts made of our polyester fiber and quilt batting

There was surge of buying in September of  polyester fiber fill  and polyester filled pillow forms by carfters and hobbyists  this year. This type of  spike in sales usually happens in October for Christmas,.

Decorator Cushions Holiday
Upon investigating I found that  many small manufacturers, hobbyists and craft guilds are now making a line of cushions , chair pads for rocking chairs, bolster pillow forms ( no pictures sent in though)  and quilted wall hangings for Halloween.

I put out  an email asking those who bought the polyester staple fiber  for some photos and I  will post afew.

Understandability the Halloween selling season is short however it seems its quite lucrative for clients of Nussopillows

We did help them out this year by offering orange and black broadcloth to colors very popular in Halloween crafts and projetcs
I found that the most popular size made this time was the 26x26 euro pillow form insert all the way down to the small pillow form 10x12 ( pictures enclosed) Here are a few photos that were sent in.

Hey aquarists use polyester fiber and qulit batting as aquarium filters

Got the strangest call early last week from a pet supply store. They are looking for non recycled clean polyester fiber for thier aqaurium filters.
I was reluctant to ship as I felt perhaps the polyester as it is treated to be slick and bouncy may do harm to the fish.
I searched the internet AND was surprised to find that that many posts and forums that advocate the use of polyester fiber based filters to save the consumer money.
Variations included quilt batting made up of polyester fiber.
I checked both fresh water and salt water tanks , yes consumers are using filters made up of the polyester fiber or small pieces of polyester quilt batting.
They are claiming savings of up to 90% over the cost of packaged filters bought in the specialty shops.
I remember when I had an aquarium I dreaded the days i had to change filters as it was an added cost to my low student budget.
Using polyester fiber or quilt batting will make these costs insignificant. Remember do not use recycled fiber as it may come from unidentified sources. Enjoy your hobby
